Lébe attended the University of Stellenbosch and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2004. Lébe joined Mettle Administrative Services in June 2005 as a financial manager and was appointed as CEO in 2021.

Heine’s studies included finance, law and tax. After qualifying as an attorney, Heine joined Arthur Andersen in 1990 where he specialised in structured finance. In 1995 he co-founded Mettle SA, heading up the structured finance division and overseeing the establishment of the proprietary funding businesses in Mettle SA.
Coenie de Villiers

Coenie is a former investment banker and joined SAAD in April 2020 after more than 15 years at Rand Merchant Bank and prior to that 7 years at Mettle. Coenie joined RMB in 2004 as Leveraged Finance dealmaker in RMB’s then-fledgling Cape Town office and became Head of Investment Banking in Cape Town in 2010 and served on the RMB Investment Banking Board for 5 years. Thereafter he was RMB’s Business Development Director for the Western Cape where he fulfilled a key client and leadership role and helped grow RMB into the leading franchise in the region. As director of SFH and Head of Private Equity at SAAD Coenie focuses on scaling SFH and executing on its long-term strategy including building out the financial services component.
Johann Snyman

Johann is an experienced debt and equity dealmaker and investment professional who joined SAAD in 2016. After an early career in financial management, Johann joined FNB Business as a Leveraged Finance dealmaker in 2011. Whilst in the FNB Leveraged Finance team he was involved in transactions in the motor vehicle, carbonated soft drinks, and wholesale fuel distributor industries. In 2014 he headed up FNB Business’ New Business Acquisitions team in the Western Cape. Johann currently acts as director on a number of the Boards of investee companies in the SAAD stable and also drives the impact investment strategy for the SAAD group.
